CHAMULA is part of Meg Company, the family of brands founded by Yuki Matsuda — alongside Yuketen and Monitaly. Where Yuketen looks to American craft traditions, CHAMULA celebrates the handmade heritage of Mexico, working with local artisans to produce traditional goods using methods passed down through generations.
The collection centres on the huarache: a hand-woven leather sandal with deep roots in Mexican footwear culture. Each pair is woven by hand in Mexico from leather or suede, with a construction that moulds to the foot and develops character with wear.
