Sunray clothes are manufactured exclusively at a traditional knitwear factory in Miyazaki, Japan, that has operated since 1928. Today, fourth-generation artisans employ the same antique knitting machines and traditional production methods once used to manufacture uniforms for the Imperial Palace. Each garment takes over 90 minutes to produce, and the Sunray brand even holds a patent on the design of its signature rib-knit collar, reflecting a long history of craftsmanship and meticulous attention to detail.
