Cut from 13.5oz denim woven in Japan, the fabric blends 65% Memphis cotton for firmness with 35% Zimbabwean cotton for softness and strength. Rope-dyed with 100% pure indigo, the yarns reveal a crisp white core as they age, creating beautiful fades over time. Using a modified 1950s Sakamoto shuttle loom, the cloth is woven at low tension, giving the fabric a rugged texture that evolves uniquely with wear. Finished with a one-wash treatment, it’s ready to break in while retaining its natural cotton character.
