The Spellbound 40-700C 5-Pocket Selvedge Regular Straight Jeans combine vintage heritage with modern Japanese craftsmanship. Cut from a 12oz raw selvedge denim woven in Okayama, the fabric is rope-dyed with pure indigo and crafted from slubby American cotton yarns. The shuttle loom weaving is done under slightly reduced tension, bringing out a rich texture that will only improve with age.
Inspired by vintage Levi’s, the jeans feature authentic details such as hidden rivets, cotton and core thread stitching, and heritage sewing techniques. The silhouette is classic yet versatile, with a moderately deep rise and a straight cut that subtly tapers for a clean fit. Finished with Spellbound’s signature OW sun-drying process, the denim takes on a soft, broken-in feel with a gentle vintage texture right from the start.
