48-923C Denim Jacket Used Indigo
Spellbound’s 48-923C Denim Jacket in Used Indigo takes its starting point from the first-type jean jacket. The shape has a little more room and a slightly longer body than a conventional denim jacket, making it easy to wear over a shirt or sweatshirt. A single flap pocket at the left chest keeps the front simple, while the T-back construction and rear waist cinch bring vintage details into view.
The 12oz selvedge denim is made from 100% cotton, using American cotton in the warp and weft. It is woven slowly on traditional shuttle looms and rope-dyed with pure indigo. The used finish is developed by hand, with rubbing, bleaching and distressing giving the fabric depth and natural-looking variation. Metal buttons, rivets and changes in stitching colour and thread weight add further definition to the construction. Made in Japan, this jacket combines a substantial denim texture with a relaxed shape for everyday layering.
