Barbour Blouson Transport Wax Jacket Black
Introduced in the 1990s, Barbour's Transport jacket was designed as a short, easy-moving outer layer for life in motion. The Blouson Transport Wax Jacket builds on that practical archive shape and adds details associated with the classic G9 blouson, creating a compact jacket that still leaves room through the body.
The outer is cut from Barbour's midweight 6 oz waxed cotton, a weather-resistant fabric that has defined the brand's outerwear for generations. A cotton tartan body lining continues the house tradition, while polyester-lined sleeves make the jacket easy to layer over shirts, knitwear and sweatshirts.
Raglan sleeves support natural movement, and the zip front is protected by a studded storm fly. A corduroy stand collar with throat tab adds coverage around the neck, while welt hand pockets keep the front clean and functional. Elasticated cuffs and hem give the jacket its blouson shape and help hold out wind.
Finished in a deep Black colour, the waxed surface will soften and develop individual creases and tonal variation with wear. Periodic reproofing helps maintain its weather resistance and extends the life of the fabric.
