Coussin Sophie Mesh SS
The Coussin Sophie Mesh SS from Vague Watch Co. gives the brand's Coussin a quieter dress-watch character, drawing on designs from the 1950s and 1960s. The original Coussin looked to the 1920s; Sophie carries that starting point into a more restrained design. Its silver colour and compact 32 mm stainless-steel case make it easy to wear with a shirt or a simple knitted layer.
The dial keeps decoration to a minimum, with slender hands that remain distinct against the understated face. A plain bezel and crown continue the pared-back approach, while domed hard crystal glass rounds off the profile. Inside is a Japanese quartz movement. The stainless-steel mesh bracelet is an original Vague design, with a 16 mm fitting and a 14 mm mesh section. Its one-touch buckle cover carries the VWC logo, adding a small finishing detail. Made in China and rated to 50 metres of water resistance, Sophie balances period references with straightforward everyday use.
