Japanese Cotton Crew T-shirt Natural
Samurai Jeans’ SJST-SC01 is a substantial crew-neck T-shirt made from Japanese cotton. The Natural version keeps the cotton’s unbleached, undyed kinari shade, so the cloth has a softer ecru appearance than a bright white tee. Its 16oz weight gives the simple shape real presence, while the uneven yarn produces the irregular surface that connects this piece to Samurai’s denim work. It is a useful choice when you want a plain tee that still has texture and character.
The fabric is knitted from #10 yarn spun in the same manner as Samurai’s 17oz Zero denim. Natural cotton flecks and variations remain visible, rather than being removed for a uniform finish. The rib trim is knitted from the same yarn, and the seams are finished on a vintage Union Special flat-seamer. Made in Japan from 100% cotton, the shirt wears well on its own and also adds weight and texture beneath an overshirt or jacket.
