The JP94407E 407EXX Denim Jacket is JELADO’s first 1st Type denim jacket, crafted with LASTRESORT BLACK TAG denim for an even wilder and more vintage feel. This 15oz selvedge fabric was meticulously analyzed and reconstructed from DEADSTOCK XX denim, offering a unique take on early-era denim craftsmanship.
True to the early 1st Type design, this jacket features a single chest pocket with flap, a one-sided tab, five-button front, inside cuff buttons, and needle-stitched back straps. The stitching details, including the pleat box stitch and needle-sewn buckle, faithfully recreate the early-period 1st Type construction.
Designed with vintage accuracy in mind, the rolled seams use #20 thread, while the main seams are sewn with #30 thread. Authentic finishes such as the horsehide leather patch, single-sided embroidered rayon tab, plated iron buttons, and copper rivets enhance its timeless character. Sizes L and above feature a T-back design due to fabric width limitations, staying true to historical production methods.
