Loud Larry Dry Weird
The Nudie Jeans Loud Larry Dry Weird is a loose-fit jean with a high waist and wide leg, built on a fabric that celebrates the irregular beauty of early workwear denim.
Made from 12.1 oz rigid regenerative cotton denim, this pair draws direct inspiration from 1950s construction techniques. Both warp and weft yarns are ring-spun with intentional variations in thickness, creating a fabric full of life from the very start. The indigo warp is half-dyed, resulting in a deep, rich tone that avoids drifting into black, while neps and dyed weft yarns add further texture and complexity.
As the denim breaks in, the irregular yarns begin to interact—revealing pronounced slubs, a defined crosshatch pattern, and evolving warp streakiness. Over time, washing introduces a subtle marble effect, while the uniquely dyed weft brings out a faint greenish cast beneath the indigo surface. This is denim designed to transform, rewarding patience with depth and individuality.
Finished with orange stitching, copper trims, orange back pocket print, a button fly, and jacron patch, this is a pair that starts strong—but truly comes alive with wear.
