MARU SANKAKU PEKE's M-35 Denim Pants take their cues from 1930s US Army denim trousers. The wide, straight cut keeps the silhouette practical and direct, while the construction stays deliberately free of unnecessary decoration.
The jeans are made in Japan from 100% cotton denim in Used Indigo. Fading and a remake process carried out by craftsmen in Kojima, Okayama give the surface the uneven character of well-worn vintage denim rather than a uniform factory finish.
A button-fly front, front patch pockets and matching rear pockets keep the layout close to its military reference. The generous leg makes them easy to wear with a simple tee, knitwear or a tucked-in shirt.
As the trousers are worn, the treated indigo develops further contrast around the seat, knees and pocket edges. The result is a pair that records its use without relying on extra embellishment.
